Up to version 4.0a a miscalculation of the week number of the year 2006 appears. The bug happens because the first of january is a sunday. All wekk numbers in the year 2006 are one to small in that case and there may be also some display errors in the first week of january. To fix the problem please download the current version of ProKal.
In the ProKal version 2.0 sometimes the error message "Another computer works with the data" appears. This happens only, if the options "Show days in blue with appointments" and "Show days in blue with events" are both enabled in the menu "View-Settings" on the page "Calendar". Please download a new version from this page or disable one of these options.
The setup of ProKal aborts on some computers with Windows 2000 or Windows XP before the first setup-screen of ProKal appears. The progress indicator goes up to 99 percent and then the setup terminates without an error message. To solve the problem, start the control panel ("Start-Settings-Control Panel"), double-click on System and choose the page "Advanced". Press the button "Environment Variables". Remember the path-setting of the variables TEMP and TMP and change the path to "c:\TEMP". Afterwards check with the Windows Explorer, wether a directory c:\temp exists and create one if it doesn't exist. Start setup again, it will now run normally. Afterwards you can change the path-settings of the TEMP and TMP variables back to the original settings.
